Summer is usually the slow point for video games, the calm before the storm that is the holiday release season. But summer is also when E3 happens, and the yearly Electronic Entertainment Expo is one of the biggest announcement venues of the year. And this year has brought some exciting news, indeed. Wii U fans should be especially heartened, but there is something great ahead for all gamers.
