The recent documentary More Than Honey by Markus Imhoof is about the potentially devastating effects of colony collapse disorder, or CCD. September is also National Honey Month, so it would seem like a perfect time to think about the contributions of bees and beekeepers to those of us who love great food.

Honey and Candy, a Captivating Combo
Since we're talking about honey here, let's start with sweets. Chocolate aside, what single ingredient could possibly make candy taste even better than it already does? We can think of at least one. Try these candy recipes that make excellent use of honey.
