A recent study reported that drivers who are singing along to favorite music are likely to concentrate more on their driving and are less likely to fall asleep. This matches my own anecdotal experience, but it is great to have it confirmed scientifically. In the spirit of the study, here are my top 10 driving songs.

Come on, admit it. Your driving speed varies in direct proportion to the speed of the song that's playing, right? "I was wondering if it's only me that increases driving speed exponentially, depending on the song," wrote rugbyguy in the Classic Rock Discussion Forum. He proceeded to list his "top 10 potential classic rock speed violations" and invited others to add theirs.

Reuters reported that the University of Sheffield had finished a study on safe drivers. The study concluded that drivers who listen to tunes that don't have complex rhythms tend to concentrate more and fall asleep less than those who drive in silence or talk.
