I eat soup year round, but with the official start of fall, I go into soup overdrive. Soup is the perfect way to enjoy all manner of seasonal produce in a usually healthy way. So keep the chill away with some of these fabulous soup recipes.

Chase the Chill with These Fall Soups
Fall arrived right on cue in Seattle with a wind and rainstorm; yesterday had been all blue skies and sunshine. The change in the weather has me craving soup. Thankfully, our Guide to Local Foods has a lovely selection of soups for me to choose from. The only question is which one I should start with.

Dairy-Free Butternut Squash Soup
This gorgeously velvet orange-hued soup is a fall favorite of mine. The recipe calls for soy milk, but coconut milk is also delicious. Serve with some crusty artisan whole-grain bread.
