From Fiona Haynes, your About Healthy Eating Editor
When we commit to eating healthfully, we sometimes focus so much on what we need to eliminate or reduce that we forget to think about what we can add to our diet to help us achieve our goal. So this week, we kick off with six foods we should include in our diet to boost our energy and feel younger.

6 Diet-Boosting Foods
Adding six particular foods to your diet may boost your energy and make you feel years oyunger. There's nothing wacky about these foods. Indeed, I am happy to say that I love all of them, so including these in my diet (and forgoing empty sugar-filled calories) is super easy.

Quick and Easy Low-Carb Snacks
If you get an attack of the munchies while you're eating low carb, there are plenty of yummy foods you can snack on without compromising your diet. The ideal low-carb snack should have protein, healthy fat, and some fiber.

How Do I Follow a Low Calorie Diet?
If you plan on cutting calories to lose weight, you need to know what's a safe way to do. Cutting back from, say, 2,500 calories to 1,500 or even 1,200 calories is a drastic reduction, which requires thought, planning, and doctor approval. Eating low calorie is not about starvation; you must ensure you are getting all the nutrients, vitamins, and minerals you need to keep you healthy.

Why a Whole Foods Diet?
This is not a diet that requires you to shop at the grocery chain with same name. Eating a whole foods diet is an approach that involves eating foods as close to their natural state as possible, without additives and without genetic modification.
