It's definitely quality over quality this month as the blues labels cautiously dip their toe into the cold water of the New Year, with only a handful of new releases sprinkled in between some interesting archival reissues. Still, any month that brags of new albums from Damon Fowler, Billy Branch, John Hammond, and Tommy Castro is OK in my book!
