From Fiona Haynes, your About Healthy Eating Editor
Spring is nearly here, although we've felt its presence in terms of longer days since the clocks went forward in the U.S. earlier this month. My front yard also thinks it's spring, with gorgeous, fragrant hyacinths, daffodils, and the first peek of tulip stems emerging from the ground. A new season brings new produce, and what a wonderful bounty spring brings: asparagus, artichokes, fava beans, and more. So think green and embrace the new season with our early spring recipes.

Pesto Hummus
Our new Vegan Food Expert offers a recipe for a fresh pesto hummus as a dip or as a condiment for sandwiches, wraps and more. But this dip can also do double duty as a delicious pasta sauce. Simply drizzle a little olive oil over cooked pasta and fold in the hummus to taste.
