This week, the kids in grades three through eight in my state underwent standardized testing in English Language Arts. Based on the Common Core State Standards, the three-part exam takes about seven hours over three days. In a few weeks, they will sit for a similar exam in math.

Preparing Kids for Standardized Tests
No matter how you feel about standardized testing, the reality is that kids are going to face these types of exams all throughout their schooling, whether it is for the CCSS, the SATs, the ACTs, or something else. Ann shares ways you can ease anxiety while helping your children get ready.
