Power Button Is *NOT* the Best Way to Restart

Last week, my solid state drive of two years failed because of bad sectors. It might have been OK with a proper disk repair, but I compounded the problem by using the power button to restart my desktop. Bad move… I made things worse. I even did it three times because I wasn’t thinking. In the end, I had to replace the SSD and fully reinstall my OS. So, lesson learned: you can hurt your computer files by restarting your machine incorrectly.
