Yes, you do need to incorporate resistance training into your exercise regime if you want to burn fat – cardiovascular exercise alone, like jogging or biking, simply isn’t enough.
But keep your wallet in your pocket; you can get all the resistance training you need with your own body’s weight. We’re talking about the old military classics: push-ups, planks, squats, lunges, and if you’re able, the timeless pull-up.
