From Jonathan Lamas, your About Auto & Wheels Editor
Hyundai's Veloster RE:MIX package takes this three-door hatchback to new levels. While it's been said the car lacks power and options, for some reason, folks find it pretty darn likeable, kind of like Uncle Fester from the Adams Family. Ok, it's nothing like Uncle Fester, but I digress!

Test Drive: 2013 Hyundai Veloster RE:MIX
The RE:MIX is Hyundai's new appearance-oriented version of the Veloster hatchback. Starting at around $20,845, this car is definitely affordable, and it gets decent mileage (27 MPG city/38 MPG city). But how does it handle out on the open road? Well, our Guide to Cars, Aaron Gold, says that, while the car is anything but powerful, it does offer up plenty of driving excitement.

Test Drive: 2013 Nissan Xterra
I've always had a soft spot for the Nissan Xterra. Yes, even back when it had a 4-cylinder engine! Thank God they go rid of that. This week we'll take a look at the newest model. While not a lot has changed, Nissan does plan to offer two new exterior colors this year: Glacier White and Cayenne Red. Sounds like Nissan's trying to spice things up a bit! Ok, where do I sign up?

Our Guide to Motorcycles, Basem Wasef, recently spent some time on the 2013 model, which features a first: anti-lock brakes. So how did it go? Fast and furious!

The Best SUVs for Commuters
Like many of you, I spend quite a bit of time commuting to and from the office each week. While I'm only about 20 miles out, LA gridlock keeps me busy for about an hour in each direction. Thank God for talk radio. This week Jason Fogelson, our SUVs Guru, takes a look at the best SUVs for commuting in 2013. We're talking luxury, fuel economy, and plenty of creature comforts.
