Miley Cyrus stole the show and generated a lot of controversy at this year's VMAs with her racy performance with Robin Thicke. It was a big night for Justin Timberlake as well, who won several awards and briefly reunited with NSYNC. People were watching, with ratings up a whopping 66 percent from last year. Here's a recap of this year's awards, with some classic moments from the past as well.

Miley Cyrus Dominates iTunes Chart After VMAs
Seeming to prove that any publicity is good publicity, Miley Cyrus is brushing off any bad publicity from her highly sexual performance at the MTV Video Music Awards and returning to a focus on her music. She has released "Wrecking Ball," the second single from her upcoming album Bangerz. The song is a big emotional breakup ballad and has rolled up to #2 on the iTunes sales chart. It joins the big hit "We Can't Stop" in the top five.
